a free fleece to keep you warm on the cold shop floor

Cons

management which are abusive to staff in front of peers in the office or on the shopfloor HR department which is incapable to control abuse by senior management on employees, i have never seen a company with such a lack of HR an attitude from senior management that they can bully long serving employees out of the door if employee does any thinking for themselves DO NOT TAKE A VACANCY WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVE ANY DESIRE FOR A CAREER!!! 20 days holiday and 10 days sick in 2018 is not acceptable for a company which states it treats its employees so well

Reasonable equipment to work with. Good access from the A12 and easy on-site parking.

Cons

Management can be aggressive and often act unprofessionally. Personal criticism is often very vocal and shared in front of your peer group. There is no opportunity to share your opinions as the method and direction will be dictated to you. Expectations are high, timescales short and failure to achieve unrealistic targets are not well received at all. Do your research, ask about staff turnover, speak to local agents and get their thoughts on this Company. Rather dated 40 hour week and 20 days leave.

Reasonable IT equipment, competitive salary, good commuter access.

Cons

Manager who lacks basic engineering knowledge, being governed by someone who doesn't understand problems and proposed solutions is testing to put it mildly. Agile project management = endless meetings and low value presentations.
