Pros

I started my career at Europe Language Jobs with an internship as a Community Manager and later transitioned into a full-time role in the marketing team. It was my very first job in digital marketing, and it gave me the chance to learn, grow, and have a real impact on the company. The supportive team & great management, opportunities for development, and inspiring work environment were a true boost for my career. Although I had to leave for reasons beyond my control, I’m very grateful for the experience. Working at ELJ opened up a wide range of new opportunities for me. I will always look back on my time at ELJ with great fondness!

Cons

The company offers limited social benefits compared to larger organizations. This wasn’t a major issue, but candidates looking for extensive perks or very rigid corporate frameworks might not find them here.

Pros

- great place to learn - you can grow in the areas you're most interested in - creative freedom in many aspects - great internal communication inside the marketing team - great people

Cons

- the office does not have access to direct sunlight, but it's not a big issue since there still are big windows and light comes in :)

Pros

- a very supportive environment, - a great place to develop, especially as a first job, - helpful, friendly colleagues who also like to spend time together after work, - an international team, - the opportunity to try out different tasks due to the flexibility of a small company, - working with people who are passionate about what they do (it's a job board dedicated to expats, run by expats) - an interesting field of work (topics like living abroad, travel, diversity, languages) - open-minded, supportive management, - help in settling in Barcelona (advice on where to look for accommodation, how to handle paperwork, etc.), - office located in a nice area of Barcelona.

Cons

The cons are the standard ones that come with working at SMBs: - limited budget for development (but they will always consider your suggestions if you need a tool or access to a course, so it's always worth asking), - salaries are lower than in big corporations, but relevant to an SMB standard, - interns are frequently hired, and training new members every few months can be a bit of a setback for the rest of the team (but there is an opportunity to get offered a full-time position after an internship - many employees started that way, which is a pro in a con), - budget limitations characteristic of an SMB sometimes make it necessary to prioritise short-term strategy over long-term goals in terms of profitability.
