Pros

Good product and dev team Good salary Good employee benefits

Cons

Ask them how many people have left (by firing or resigning) in the last 12 months (it's public info on LinkedIn),.. Management culture was probably the worst I have ever experienced. There are some nasty/ruthless characters amongst the SMT that you just can't detect at interview or even in the early months due to the remote nature of the business There are lots of nice welcome boxes, equipment, HR fluff, events, early conversations but it's all for show. Scratch the surface and it was a toxic and damaging place to work for my career and my mental health. They will quote the employee survey (done in house) which will say everyone's happy... Go and ask former employees or the people who have "open to work" set and Evaluagent as their current employer and they will tell you the truth. Always good to ask about sales targets vs achieved... Avoid.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We're happy to hear the pros in your review, we have worked hard to get to a stage where our benefits and salary feel right for our team and the business and we’ll continue to review these. However we're disappointed to hear about the concerns you mentioned. Our Revenue Team have gone through a period of fast growth as we scale and you’ll have witnessed this has resulted in a period of change across the team and in particularly revenue. We encourage feedback so that we can reflect, review and take actions where required. I'd like to be able to speak with you directly to gain a deeper understand of your experience. I encourage you to reach out to a member of the People Team in confidence, so that we can discuss it together. Thank you, Jayne Chief People Officer

Toxic work environment

Pros

Remote working. Good benefits. Great product. Some truly talented, hardworking colleagues.

Cons

The lack of leadership, care and direction from SLT teamed with their bullying ways creates a toxic work environment. Instead of listening to employees, EvaluAgent is quick to let go of anyone who dares to question this or raise concerns. The amount of talented, experienced people I’ve seen come go within only a year is staggering. Continuous change is expected within a growing business, but weekly changes to (what should be simple) processes results in confusion among the teams and unnecessary admin. SLT is not holding themselves accountable for the company’s shortcomings and poor results in recent years, but find scapegoats and congratulate themselves when they fire them. EvaluAgent’s clients and most of their employees are amazing and fun to work with, but the (lack of) leadership and their unprofessional attitudes resulted in this experience being the worst I have had in my career by far.

Pros

A lot of the people in the teams work well with each other and some genuinely help each other out where possible. CEO seems to be genuine and a nice guy

Cons

From the top down there are major issues. 1) C-Level people bullying, harassing and generally nasty to those who work for them, no problems letting go of whole teams when they feel like it. 2) Senior management are not helpful, will hound you and micro manage you until you either leave or are pushed out. 3) Gone through 3 sales directors, 1 head of sales, 1 Director of revenue and 1 CRO in less than one year, speaks for itself really. 4) Overall attrition is around 50-60% total 5) Personally seen and experience bullying in the workplace but nothing is ever dealt with, they just let the person bullied go from the business instead, sweep it under the rug. 6) Tell the teams one thing but then do something else and don't communicate it until someone asks. 7) Starts commission rates at just below market value then halve them within 6 months so your OTE is never what was promised at the start. Change targets when they feel like it and don't communicate that out. 8) Try to justify to the team why they have let people go but every single team member knows they simply just wanted rid. 9) Don't seem to even care that almost all of their staff are worried about their own tenure as they see people let go for the most insignificant reasons 10) Ask yourself why nearly 90% of their workforce are all less than two years in the business.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're pleased to hear you valued the support within your team and the CEO’s leadership. We’re sorry to learn that other aspects of your experience didn’t meet your expectations. We understand that rapid growth and structural changes can create challenges, and we remain committed to building a positive, respectful work environment. It’s worth noting that nearly 30% of our workforce has been with the company for over two years, this reflects that our growth period only really began after our Series A investment last year. Additionally, in the spirit of being factual, our retention rate for the last 12 months is at 66%. Your feedback is valuable as we continue to work on improvements across the organisation. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts.
