Pros

flexible working hours even though it's not flexible at all

Cons

high turn over rate, more than 41 people left their jobs in less than one year. they have so many issues with their employees and customers and they are not stable at all. they don't have any common experience in the E-commerce industry specially people in charge. unclear role duties. no technical skills at all. total mess. lack of professionalism.

- Non Organized company at all levels. - They did not renew the contract for more than 50 person (very very high turn over). - No seniority level at all. - worst technical team leader i have ever deals with. - worst HR team i have ever deals with. - Very Very comfort zone no new challenges or new technologies to learn just Open-cart PHP and twig front end - I have notified that they will not renew my contract before 30 days of its renew date without mention the reason of why. - I have requested 3 times to meet with the CTO but no one respond neither the HR or the CTO hm self - I have spend 14 month working day to day Developers task and the CTO never contacted with me. - No Fault tolerance after exact 1 year i have some issue with the PHP Version which can be done by mistake (common case) but they give me warning of 1 day Deduction from salary without any one to share responsibility to the issue with me. - You Will not learn anything from any one inside because lake of professionals. - I have been promised to be raised on the beginning of the year but instead of that i have been fired(contract not renewed) - No Clear Environment to work very mess. - No financial benefits (addition...etc) -the project is not stable at all a lot of bugs and weakness points many of customers complain and left them like Raneen and Cavaraty which they are the most promising clients. - I have been forced to sign an exit form to receive my December salary. - I have been forced to take 14 days OFF while i can work and replace them with money. -Very Bad Reputation on the social media facebook , instagram , youtube , twitter...etc many of clients submit bad reviews and write bad comments on the official social media accounts. - Very bad reputation with the ex-workers every one said that it was a really mess including me

Thank you for your feedback We understand how you feel, and we thank you for your contributions during the previous phase, our contracts are Annual based ends 31st Dec, which means based on a mutual agreement the company can choose not to renew or the employee can proceed with resignation reasons for non-renewal of the contract may vary as per individual case that can be due to performance, policies, company strategy updates, budget updates, function, and position restructure or current qualifications may not fit in the company’s new objectives, according to this the process of non-renewal was executed with respect to Egyptian labor law in terms of notice provided, handover and financial dues calculations, and release With respect to labor law, our current Annual day balance policy is calculated starting the hiring date until Dec of each year, employees are eligible to consume from their annual balance after passing the probation period, annual days are to be consumed with respect to work needs, in case there is no room of consumption the remaining annual balance is released in cash Our growth plans are crucial and there is no room for critical mistakes that can negatively affect our customer's satisfaction, our focus in 2022 will be on quality and efficiency, we will be working on developing existing employees and We will need to hire the best calibers out there to join our team to help us along our challenging journey. Growing fast has its pros and cons In the past year, our main focus was to hire due to the workload and continuous business rush and yes we did not provide the time nor the resources to develop in our existing staff, at this year this is one of the top priorities of the people and culture team is to provide career development plans to existing and new hires this includes solid onboarding, job rotation, cross-team training programs, and online technical and soft skills training sessions We have introduced and developed new roles and built a stronger hierarchy that can match our employees’ potentials and serve their career development we are focusing on reviewing current, compensation and benefits programs, job descriptions, workflow and reporting lines for all employee levels, and we will continue to enhance to reach the optimum organizational structure We are also aware that our previous communication approaches were not the most effective we believe that communication and continuous feedback is the key to a healthy and successful workplace. This is why we are now building up programs through the people and culture team who are working to design periodic events and surveys that allow employees and management to share an effective two-way communication and feedback system working on the above we are always committed to using technology to empower commerce in every aspect. we have radically changed the ExpandCart product since last year amongst our new products are and we have ExpandPay, ExpandShip, and our latest successful product, ExpandBot! using our innovative talents we will continue to develop, support, and enhance our customer experience and provide updated and innovative tools and processes to be the best eCommerce provider

Working from home and flexible hours

1- For employees it's not a stable job. In one day emails have been sent to more than 40 employees to end their contracts without any explanation and without any previous warning. Even current employees don't feel safe with their new 3 months contracts which makes it a very bad environment to work in or to develop. 2- In general forget to develop your career in expandcart. You will leave it as you came with no new tools or technology 4- For clients it's not a good place to invest in. Clients hear a lot of promises that the company can't make it real which causes a lot of refunds and clients unsatisfactory.

Our growth plans are crucial and there is no room for critical mistakes that can negatively affect our customer's satisfaction, our focus in 2022 will be on quality and efficiency, we will be working on developing existing employees and We will need to hire the best calibers out there to join our team to help us along our challenging journey.
