Stepping Stone

Pros

Fisher Printing has set them selves a great stepping stone for people looking for a job to gain some quick experience and then move one. They offer a flexible and casual work environment and the hours are consistent.

Cons

Compensation is not up to par with the industry. They offer very little to no overtime and unfortunately they have set them selves as a short term place of work for most employees.

Waste of time

Pros

Weekly paychecks, pot luck events. So bring your own food. Co workers are the best, they will help you more than the owners.

Cons

after years of trying to help, I gave up. Dealing with management that was in place to turn this failure around is abysmal. It did not take long to see who runs this “company”, that sales really runs the company. The “owners” are called so because their name is on the building. They have no concept of the business and do not care about the employees. The “owners” often have liquid lunches and are gone for hours. Hearing the owners yell about their personal life issues when you are paid close to minimum wage is depressing. It is often you will get in trouble(yelling or cussing involved) for something out of your control. Raises are handed out once a decade.

Avoid Working Here

Pros

Not really any anymore, their used to be support and sympathy from middle management, but that went away.

Cons

Just about everything else. The Owners don't care about the employees here, they have put a heartless manager in charge who quickly started laying off anybody who remotely disagreed with her. She expects employees to work as long and as many hours as needed to accomplish her whimsical sales goals. The demands and pressures on the employees are huge and unreasonable and the pay rate is deplorable. There is no upside to this company anymore, other than waiting out their imminent failure.
