Pros

1. Lots of projects to work upon. 2. Learning in multi domains. 3. Flexible timings(Only if continues as it is as of now) 4. Minimal hierarchy 5. Top management is super friendly and supportive.

Cons

1. Biggest con is No WFH. Whats the point of having software engineers in office if they can do every single damn thing from home. ( Although you can get WFH anytime as of now, but surely will not be there in future) 2. No appreciations upon good work by top managements 3. Very minimal employee benefits. None we can say. You get salary and thats it. No tax saving allowance, very less leaves. 4. Office space(you have to fight for your seat every morning) 5. Food and cafeteria (Not hygienic at all) 6. No playing area.

Pros

1. Company is in Pune, which is one of the good cities to live in India. 2. Good for people who are fresh out of college and don't have any other offer in hand, lot of learning opportunity in terms of data.

Cons

1. Data Science is one of the worst departments, 1st of all its a misnomer. If you really want to build career in data science or advance analytics DO NOT join FPL. You will end up doing simple analysis in excel or spss in the name of data science. 2. All the work is reaction to pressure from banks and management doesn't plan for long term solution. 3. Irrational deadlines are imposed without considering the scope and long term effects. Management is more interested in quick-fix/band-aid solution rather than long term. 4. No scope for making mistakes, hence less opportunity to learn and explore new ideas. 5. There is no work culture or work ethics, management does not know how to get work done from lazy employees, hence lot of work is put on sincere employees. 5. No work life balance, people are often encouraged and praised to work extra hours and weekends instead of doing their work during office hours. 6. No time flexibility at all, no work from home. 7. Toxic work environment, people who have been with this company for longer are very toxic, unhelpful. Maybe side effects of being in this company for longer. 8. People don't respect each other's time, meetings never start/end at expected times. 9. Taking vacation days is frowned upon. 10. Too much micro-management, if you don't trust people you have hired either don't hire them or improve your hiring process.

Working with the design team at OneCard under this management is incredibly frustrating. The manager shows blatant favoritism, disregards team input, and fosters a toxic work environment. Feedback is often met with hostility, leading to low morale and burnout. Unrealistic deadlines are common, and there's little respect for work-life balance. The lack of clear direction and communication creates constant chaos. Instead of promoting collaboration, the culture encourages competition and fear. Growth opportunities are limited, as leadership is more focused on power than nurturing talent. Overall, it's an environment where creativity and productivity suffer.
