1. Terrible design procedure which causes frequent, inefficient changes in your design. If there are any updates for the designs, you rarely (or too late) will be informed about the updates, although it has a noticeable impact on your design. 2. NO RESPECT. almost ALWAYS speaking Chinese in the professional working environment EVEN in the presence of colleagues who do not know Chinese. In other words, more than 90% of all the staff are Chinese; therefore, you MUST be able to speak Chinese. I heard my name many times when they were speaking Chinese, but I didn't understand what they were saying (or talking about me!). 3. Back to the previous item, my safety training session was in Chinese language. EVEN the PowerPoint was in Chinese! 4. I want to echo a comment for this company as one employee mentioned before: This is NOT an engineering design company: Mare than 90% of the time, it only requires you to do copying and pasting with minor modifications. 5. Almost NO career advancements, everyone including the manager, supervisor, EIT, PEng, etc. do the same thing. 6. You feel a big miscommunication from the office to the production line. 7. I sent an email to my supervisor and was so motivated to make a CHANGE. I offered optimization, stress analysis, etc. for their design but NO ONE replied to my email! 8. Very low pay 9. Many times you may see that your co-worker, supervisor, or even your manager doesn't know how to write, read or speak English! but they are professional in Chinese!

The company rather overhire and not pay more to current employees. managers will micromanage and walk around you to see if you are working. This facility is located in the middle of nowhere so you must have a reliable car.... come work here if you are deperate for a paycheque or need experience otherwise you will feel depressed coming here
