Pros

The core technology is great and FireEyes name opens doors

Cons

Astronomically expensive, UK sales targets way too high. Its a tough sell beyond the tier 1 companies and govt orgs. Due to lack of pipeline, those deals that do appear are subject to microscopic focus. Pressure-cooker & micro-measurement culture doesn't endear FireEye to its staff. Pay rises are non-existent. Its a dynamic place to work but has had the fun sucked out of it.

Pros

Great technology that really works Still some amazing people Did I say the tech was great ? Because it really is

Cons

Leadership changes in EMEA brought with it a sneaky and sly culture filled with politics and greed. Company lacks a real strategy that is partner friendly and seems to flip flop and change direction constantly Arrogance and poor execution along with greedy management have contributed to where we are Poor communication with mixed messages

Pros

Great technology and some really good individuals there. Can't think of a great deal else to say in 20 words!

Cons

Management culture is based on fear and micro-management. You can't get anything done without having every decision scrutinised, second-guessed and usually changed. It's very top-heavy. A small company with the lumbering bureaucracy of a huge organisation. There's a "rock star" culture of worshipping the execs whilst anyone joining post-IPO is given very little room to impact anything - you're not trusted. The old guard still pull all the strings, make all the decisions (which change every 5 minutes) and are ultimately stifling the growth of the company - the proof is in the stock price plummeting over the past 2 years.
