Pros

Pay, benefits, unlimited PTO, meal program

Cons

CXO team is erratic, does not listen to employee input, changes strategy at a dizzying pace. Focused on making investors happy and has moved away from states mission of reducing food insecurity. Scaled teams only to layoff employees 6 months later. Evidence of poor forecasting and concern for financial stability of employees. CEO micromanages and does not focus on his scope. CFO is aggressive, rude and belittling. Average tenure is 1 year or less. Employees regularly have breakdowns over lack of resources and fire drill timelines.

Pros

Flexible work hours, remote option, unlimited PTO, thoughtful co-workers driven by the perceived vision

Cons

Erratic pivots in mission and product, no clear vision or roadmap to success, unachievable metrics promised to shareholders, no product, high turnover, no promotions (especially for women) bonus payouts pulled out from under employees, hiring sprints followed by mass layoffs, zero reasons to celebrate any success and find pride in your work

Pros

Good coworkers (if they aren't stabbing you in the back), free lunch (nothing is ever really free), you'll be asked to take on challenges (with little or no direction / or you'll be micromanaged and will make wrong decisions)

Cons

CFO is rude and condescending and every other word out of his mouth is a lie. CEO will do anything to make a sale including trashing the project he started you working on just a couple of weeks ago. This company has no strategy. They will sell ice to Eskimos and sand to Arabs even though they know nothing about ice or sand. But soon you will have to know... Until the next sale they make.
