Executive leadership who don’t work with the clinicians and don’t understand the work or care that can be provided. What once was a great organisation is now led by the head of People & Culture - with no health background. Care has gone backwards with the CEO and others working under a belief that their change is making the organisation better. Talk of a Forensic core model (for 2 years) delivering nothing.
Removed all Nurse Practitioners, Speech Pathology and nursing positions. Unheard of for a health service. 700+ nurses and the nursing voice silenced. No recognition of nursing skills and that the service cannot run without them. No nursing voice at Executive and a slow removal of nursing leadership positions despite nurses being the core and major discipline.
