Pros

Flexible Starting hours and competitive starting pay.

Cons

Hours are flexible, but full time employees are expected to give 10 hours a day, during the week and 6 hours on Saturdays. Be prepared to have an argument with other employees when you need time off. Management expects these issues to be resolved among the employees. There is NO leadership. There isn't even an employee handbook detailing standards. If there is, I have never seen it. Starting pay barely increases no matter how long you've been there. Nepotism and favoritism from the higher-ups bleeds down to the store managers. Behaviors that would be absolutely inexcusable in any other work environment pass because of the personal relationships these employees have with the higher-ups. If you are directly related to a Fraser Optical owner or manager you will do just fine here. If you aren't, then stay away.

Pros

Willing to train you and decent starting wage.

Cons

Negative work atmosphere. Everyone is always talking about someone there. Bring it to managements attention and they eliminate you like the little bug that you are.
