Pros
- Different projects are coming in all the time, so there's always a new industry to learn, new project to learn from, and a new opportunity to bite into
- The compensation plan is both a mix of base pay and commission, which is a fantastic environment to grow in
- The entire team is VERY supportive (I know every company and their pet dog's goldfish will claim this, but I've not yet seen a team that can rival this one in terms of proactive support)
- The CEO Liz is capably empathetic - she have high expectations for the work done, but she'll stand by her team and hear them out in every situation. Haven't seen even an inkling of workplace politics. She's also very human - the interview I had with her got surprisingly personal (in a good way) based on the questions she asked me, and I felt we were both able to really understand each other and what each of us brought to the table during the interview process.
- The team cares about the quality of work but also about each other. I've received good feedback, blunt feedback, and everything in between, but for that blunt feedback I've also been given plenty of opportunities to improve upon it and personal acknowledgement/congratulations from Liz when I was able to consistently implement it.
- The company is always looking to improve, and they're more than willing to hear out ideas and suggestions of any kind.
Cons
- Working hours are slightly unusual for me because I'm on the East Coast (company operates on the West Coast hours), but that's really the only con of any significance that I'd have.
