Pros

GTG often promotes from within so there are great opportunities to develop and further your career, even from an entry level position. There are lots of learning opportunities not only by completing some of the courses delivered by GTG but through mentorship and working with the various departments and learning from their expertise in their own competency areas.

Cons

Most roles are fully on premises, there's not a lot of opportunity for hybrid/home working.

Pros

Good management structure that has a positive culture to deliver quality learning in all aspects. The aim is to deliver apprentice programs and adult training that make a difference to the learners and employers.

Cons

None so far in my time at the company

Pros

I have been with GTG for a number of years and I find it an ideal working environment for someone who thrives on a challenge, Here you create your own programme based on a working caseload without it being overstretched, I have needed operational support on occasion and it has always been there whether that is on the end of the phone or email. You do get the satisfaction of developing new players into your industry without management hand-holding you throughout the process, this easily outweighs the added benefits of the bonus scheme above and beyond the competitive salary and company cars! Would I move on to another employer - not on your nelly!

Cons

You are left to your own devices once you have gone through the induction process unless you need the additional support, that is where you realise the support available to you is from a team of like-minded professionals who have all been through the process. You could argue that there isn't enough pay, the hours are too long and any other general argument aimed at private sector employers. the point is that if you work hard the rewards are there!
