Pros
- This is the first Company that I've worked with that actually lives and inspires you to live their Core Values (Integrity, Innovation and We Never Ever Give Up). It helps give direction to not only my day to day work but also gives me confidence that I know I belong. - The vibe within the Office is fast paced, professional and serious but at the same time it can also be casual, silly and fun! Love that the Owner brings in his 3 dogs. -I love the daily huddles which provides transparent communication across all departments as to where we are winning and where we need to improve. None of the previous places I’ve worked dared to share this much information with staff. I also love the humour shared there as it’s a great source of laughter. - I’m proud of everything this team accomplishes and to see that translated into the awards that are won. Garibaldi just won the VRCA Awards of Excellence as the Manufacturer and Supplier of Choice (2017 Gold Winner). - The people that work at Garibaldi are superstars! The Production Teams are insanely hard working and have such pride in the quality of their work. - Ownership is open to listening to suggestions. They carried out an Employee Survey to find out what to improve and have made significant strides to act on those suggestions. -Growing company but you are still able to work on projects outside of your functional area.
Cons
- There is a continuous improvement philosophy and this Company likes "Change" so if you don't like change then this isn't the environment for you. -Overly ambitious in everything we do. We take on more than we can achieve. Need to focus on less but do it better. -Not everyone can bring their dogs into the Office :(

Cons
Very old-fashioned, backwards company that is resistant to change of any type. They say they embrace 'continuous improvement,' but they fight all changes every step of the way that will make any type of actual improvement (especially the plant manager). The management team is bogged down by politics, and the Owners can't make a decision on literally anything, and fight constantly in front of the company. At every morning meeting, the CEO whines about how they're not making any money and everyone needs to work harder... literally every... single... morning. There is zero direction and no one seems to know what's going on at the management level.
