As the co-founder and CEO of Geekgarden, I read feedback like this personally. I understand that your experience, particularly around compensation and transparency, did not meet your expectations, and I acknowledge how frustrating that can feel.
Building and growing a company involves continuous learning, reflection, and improvement. While individual experiences may differ, we continue to review and improve processes to ensure clearer alignment and consistency moving forward.
I wish the best in your next chapter.
A workplace that fosters a supportive and collaborative environment, where colleagues treat one another with the trust, respect, and sense of belonging often found in a family.
Cons
Taking on projects with demanding deadlines provides an opportunity to demonstrate my ability to manage time effectively, adapt quickly, and consistently deliver quality outcomes within the required timeframe.
Friendly teammates and a collaborative working environment. I had the chance to handle various products instead of working on a single project, which helped improve my UI and UX skills much faster. Communication between design and development teams was generally smooth.
Cons
Workload can get busy during client delivery periods. Sometimes design decisions are driven more by project timelines or client requests than ideal UX practices. You'll need to be comfortable with frequent context switching and fast-paced projects.
