Was not advised what the course entails, poor communication and responses from staff, ITSDA was mainly about role playing, seemed it was aimed at being an actor more than getting an IT job. Job offers from the company (promises ) are basic admin, temporary or apprenticeships roles. Companies they offer you jobs from are micro companies or not relevant to the IT industry. The staff do not respond to your messages and later if you make a compliant it gets ignored. 80% of the course material was role playing and socialising, 20% was IT related basic stuff like turn on off pc, desktop and plug in hardware and what are the inside components are. One days job. 9 weeks wasted from my point of view. After 9 weeks they extended it as you need help and assitance with your employability which is another waste of time. Expect to be with them for at least 4 months. You dont receive your certificate as advised, they use it to control the narrative and only accept if you listen to them after the course. For someone who has expereince at work avoid like no other. For school leavers this is good as they teach you how to talk and chat and make friends. From a professional point of view this is a waste of time. There are other learning institutes that offer better. Also you dont receive an official qualification. Other places offer you a level 3 NVQ. Generations dont do this, there is no value with the courses. I advise all before you start ask them for a full break down of course marterial like a professional education setting will provide they avoided this and no one on the group new what, when, how. When asked only response was someone will get back to you. They are not open about the work you need to do. I suggest before you participate with Gen ask them to clarify deadlines for tests, whats inclusive, compaines they will help you find jobs with etc. If they dont RED flags. Also I would suggest make a serperate whatsapp group seperate to GEN classes so you can freely talk to you class mates as they repress all freely open communication. I also suggest a dictator to record everything they say as in my case they have mis informed my team serveral times. I jobs was advertised as 25k but the jobs offered were 16k plus. With excuses as to why.
