I have been working at Genesis HealthCare full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nice people on the team

    Cons

Out of date software, unprofessionally slow IT, no 401k match, freeze on bonus/increases, horrible PTO plan, to expensive benefit plans. Recruiters tell you one thing then you discover another once you start and it’s to late to go back.

    Pros

Fair pay, all around great people.

    Cons

They have a raise freeze so to have upward mobility you have to leave and HR is a nightmare. They don't deal with issues until it becomes an emergent situation

    Advice to Management

    Raises would help keep employees

I worked at Genesis HealthCare (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Had great coworkers that provide great care to residents

    Cons

Double standards. A female was fired for making sexist comment.A male was reported for making a sexist comment and he still has a job. Also, changing positions in building and they want you to start out at that position at the starting salary rate for that position with no regard for the years you already worked for the company.

    Advice to Management

Code of Conduct should be followed by all. No exceptions. Right now your Code of Conduct is a joke. Reward your loyal employees.
