Pros

The company offers competitive compensation and the flexibility of remote work. The opportunity to engage with various aspects of the business is invigorating. The start-up environment fosters a collaborative mentality where everyone contributes. It's an ideal first job, providing a fast-paced learning experience akin to a career bootcamp.

Cons

The work-life balance can impact well-being and lead to burnout. Communication gaps can be disorienting. Wearing multiple hats may decrease execution and overall performance. Favoritism fosters echo chambers. Unorganized structures result in missed deadlines. Lack of HR support leaves concerns unaddressed.

Pros

Family orientated. Dog friendly. Stocked kitchen. Good benefits.

Cons

There was a consensus at Genexa that at first everything seemed incredible and almost too good to be true, and that is because it was. They claim to be a company that is very conscious and eco-friendly, yet that was not apparent in the items purchased and waste produced. Everyone seemed like they were your friend upfront, but there was a significant amount of gossip and drama (reminds one of high school) that made work unbearable at times. I saw people cry and breakdown over personal matters and manipulation. It was honestly difficult to watch and eventually be on the receiving end of it. Unfortunately when such matters were brought to the attention of the company, there was retaliation that took place upon the person who was strong enough to address it, and systematically such people left. There were rumors that everyone who left actually got fired. There is something to be said about a company that has a quick turn around in much of their positions. I wanted to like this job and company, but unfortunately it fell short in ways that are alarming and shocking.

Thank you for your comments. Negative or positive, we prioritize getting input from our employees. The corporate culture you describe is not an accurate representation of our company. Just the opposite is true. Genexa prides itself in creating an atmosphere that is warm, accepting of individual differences, and rewards hard work and creativity. There has never been an incidence of retaliation. Since the inception of the company in 2016, only two employees have elected to leave due to outside reasons and, meaningfully, each continue to have cordial relationships with management.
