Poor training, no support

Pros

Free snacks on Fridays but that's about it

Cons

Poor methodology in training employees, started training on invoices then thrown in to purchase orders, anytime a question would arise, I was told to "just send an email". Reprimanded for small mistakes such as typos in document names, received no feedback through 3 month probation period. Had a massive amount of work piled on, mostly learn as you go, once it was mostly done was let go. Clearly hired on just to get bulk admin work done. Bathroom Breaks were secretly logged by sales member and submitted to management. Very sneaky

Looks like the wrong company. I wish we had snacks on Fridays, we are only now starting to come back working at the office and admin staff was working remote for the last 2 years. We take training seriously, investing in ensuring we help anyone in getting better at what they do and have an open door culture.

Pros

Good money but you definitely earn it.

Cons

Sales Mgmt is beyond unreasonable and relentless. Very tight-knit religious/cultural group that if you're not part of, it's very obvious. ZERO work\life balance. Vacations are a misnomer and you work right through them.

Thank you for the feedback. The work/life balance at GHS was well taken care of, with emphasizes on trust and respect of all. Our low churn during the past couple of years speaks for itself.

Pros

- good culture in Sales - EVP is a rockstar - very approachable, empathetic and understanding - some good moves starting in SalesOps, but is long time coming to reality

Cons

- good culture in sales ends there -- the rest of the corporate office is redundant and poisonous - Sales Operations are stuck in the 80s - an awful manual, Excel-based process that ultimately "forgets" to pay commissions - expenses are still paid-out in a physical cheque -- LONG wait to receive - Operations are stuck in the mid-90s - will not fairly pay-out expenses, but expectations for home office work and things like cellular coverage are high - LOW, low pay; i haven't made this little since early 2000s; - Security team management is flaky and unfocused - still is mixed-into sales meetings way more than he should be -- neglects the stuff the Security and Managed Services teams needs - complete lack of cohesion between "Account Executives" and other sales teams; meek attempt at spiffs is the attempt to bridge that - it's really ZERO incentive - Admin tasks for sales team are exhaustive and demanding - takes a lot of time away from actually calling on customers - their view on Security technology is five years old -- needs an evolution, quickly

Thank you for the feedback. It was well received and last year were all addressed. The office is renovated to modern and energetic vibe, the sales opps has been completely revamped with HubSpot implementation that works smoothly, commission plan changed and had accolades from the sales team. We have had 3x growth in recurring revenue in security and Managed Services and continue to grow.
