Laptops are more than 12 years old I had 5 in the space of 5 months which didn’t work ! I had to get an ACAS solicitor as they weren’t paying into my government pension which is illegal. They also wouldn’t let me take lunch breaks and would time how long I was in the toilet for ! Forced to work extra hours during a pandemic and a lockdown without being paid and I also don’t drive so my bf would come to pick me up at 5 and pretty much everyday he would drive off after waiting an hour and I would have to get a cab home due to Covid and bare in mind he is self employed and would have to leave work early. The Managment would say to me if I don’t stay then the contract fails which means you don’t have a job, even though I was running 3 contracts and a project with lease holders and non-lease holders ! Absolute jokers and at 5.30 they would still be deciding where staff were working for the following day ! I never once got an apology and talk about being under paid. This job is slave labour- they called the police on me saying I am harassing my former manager! As I was chasing the outstanding documents they owed me and I was issued a certificate by the ACAS solicitor after Goom electrical failed to email over a few documents to my ACAS solicitor , to take them to court to a tribunal!!! The police officer said they aren’t prepared to give statements but I am being warned - I laughed 😂I told the officer what had happened and that I would be more than happy to come down to the station and give a statement and show him the ACAS certificate. He apologised and said I was sounding like I was doing the right thing. I was also promised to be able to work from home during the lockdown however that never happened ! More LIES they never even registered for touch and trace! Disgusting the way they operate.
