Great clients and experience, but could value employees a lot more

      Pros

Great training budget and opportunities. Great exposure to top clients and good opportunities. Monthly catch-ups and development chats with Grayce mentor. A very good way to start out on your career.

      Cons

Average salary (first year salary is very low). Poor benefits and minimum legal pension contributions. Not enough holiday days - less holiday than any other company I have worked for or researched. And forced to use your holiday over the Christmas period which makes the limited holiday feel like even less. Expected to work full time for the client but also find time in evenings and weekends to study and contribute to the Grayce community which can be difficult. Working for clients rather than for Grayce on a daily basis makes it difficult to get a sense of community or belonging (working remotely doesn't help that). Company is growing so fast that it feels like a factory pumping grads through it's programme rather than really valuing individuals. Grayce have a great training budget but choose to use "The Knowledge Academy" for some of their training which is very low quality training.

      Great Opportunity

      Pros

A wide range of clients. Plenty of opportunity to prove yourself and lead. Variety of job roles within the 3 years. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and Grayce and they have been nothing but supportive.

      Cons

Can be hard to balance time with clients with the additional personal admin required by Grayce. But certainly doesn't eat into personal time.

      Pros

. Comprehensive training program which can be tailored to your personal development . Many opportunities to work for a variety of clients that strengthens your CV considerably . Engaging community with lots of amazing initiatives for networking and developing skills outside of client site including CSR events, Inclusivity, Sustainability and Digital Skills

      Cons

. Opportunities are very much dependent on available client roles being available but Grayce do their best to accommodate individuals depending on their circumstances . Less Benefits provided compared to traditional roles which could be developed further.

Great start to a career in business change

      20 Nov 2020 - Senior Project Analyst

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Delivery managers genuinely want you to succeed and put a lot of effort into your development. - Very supportive culture especially for new starters - Grayce management are generally very reasonable and will make adjustments to help employees even when they are legally not obligated to do so (such as financial support during Covid-19) - The variety of clients you will work with and the quality of training you receive is really exceptional and I haven't seen anyone offering more in the market in this area (hence why Grayce is an ideal career starting place in my opinion).

      Cons

      - The starting salary is lower than what you will get on a blue chip company grad scheme (although the Grayce scheme is just as competitive to get on to). In my opinion the training and breadth of experience makes up for this but bare this in mind when weighing up your options. Everything else really is great. As much as I would like to point out some other cons it would be dishonest to do so.
