- Skill stagnation - Culture of mediocrity. Guidewire is a poster child of "Good work is rewarded with more work" - Time-gated promotions and managers are generally detached from the work you do - Ridiculously outdated tech stack. Main suite of products is a group of ancient monoliths. - Everything is about shareholder value - Constant restructuring, it feels like that's the only thing management does - Titles of the roles changed so much, didn't even know what to put on CV - Almost non-existent salary bumps, 1-2% annually at best.

The transport is so bad, they don’t have flexible timings and are making things increasingly difficult and yet expect people to be in office at least 3 times a week at timings completely unaligned with actual project work. The office is overcrowded, the food quality declining and feedback given for at least transport falls on deaf ears.
