Decent compensation. Good benefits. Ability to transition either upward or elsewhere in parent company. Some favorable promises of continuing professional education.
Cons
Leadership often at odds with each other. Lack of leadership direction, no ability to focus on throughput or hierarchy of importance. Lack of fundamental expertise in key areas, wrong people leading decision making in their given areas of professional experience. Leadership in certain areas could not stop themselves from sweating the small stuff, plaguing the ability of capable experts to execute primary job functions.
