-Terrible management; I had to give an induction my second week in. I wasn't shown how to access my payslip or anything. There's no way to check the rota from home. -Very little training; I was only trained in moving and handling which I'm glad I've got previous experience with because the training was minimal. There wasn't any dementia specific training which I feel would be highly recommended. Staff should also be put through a communication training of some kind, as the amount of carer's I saw not talking to the residents before doing things like personal care or undressing really concerned me. -Lack of cleaning; the care home only seemed to employ domestics as part time, which did not seem to nearly enough time to give a thorough clean. All in all, I was highly disappointed with my time here. I've worked in care for a long time, so I know a good job when I see it. With some improvements I can see it going well but right now it's very lacking.
