Supportive colleagues, but top-down decision making culture

Cons
- Staff are not being respected in decision making. Managers are also not given much authority and are expected to just follow instructions. Even yearly promotions are decided by senior management without input from direct superiors. - Boss likes to text staff outside working hours and expects quick replies. If we don’t respond, we get questioned, but at the same time the boss can also be unresponsive when staff need something. - Unrealistic timelines are frequently being set without properly discussing with the team, everyone is expected to deliver no matter what. If not, staff get blamed for it. - Boss does not really fight for staff promotions, career growth in IT department is very limited. - Company benefits are very limited. - Salary adjustments seem to focus more on fresh graduates, while existing staff do not get much adjustment.
