Pros

The employees who work hard around the clock!

Cons

Everything else! I was employed by this company for 10+ years (Identiv and now Hirsch). I believed in the company despite warnings from so many others. I gave my blood, sweat and tears to this company! The company is run by leaders who fail to understand it is imperative they improve their ancient leadership skills and must understand that a technology company needs to evolve to stay competitive! They claimed to be the leader in technology, and that may have been true many years. However the CEO refuses to understand that we should be continuously improving our products. The situation only worsened after the acquisition by the French company, VitaProtech. We were promised things would get better, better technology, more team members, better work life balance, better benefits, and nothing would change. All of those statements were false. Instead of the expected enhancements, we saw misguided investments, such as the purchase of a million dollar sailboat, while employees faced stagnant wages and were denied necessary team expansions in already lean departments. We are expected to manage workloads that should be divided among three people, which is simply unsustainable. They are clearly only concerned with getting the company to a position where they can sell it. The majority of the leadership team is a complete joke! Moreover, the leadership team's lack of understanding and respect for employees is disheartening. Promising hires who could genuinely uplift the team are let go within a few years, reinforcing a cycle of hopelessness. The company culture has plummeted to its lowest point ever, with leaders seemingly indifferent to employee morale and well-being. They say they care in meetings and want to hear from us. But anyone that speaks up with ideas and concerns, is pushed out! Now the employees are afraid to speak out. Many people are looking for new jobs. It's disheartening to see a company continue to falter due to poor management decisions. Make sure you do your research on this company. You won’t find too many reviews on Hirsch because it is a new company. Go look at the reviews from Identiv over the years. It’s all the same stuff over and over again.
