financially backed up by the mother company.

Cons

We said upper managers seem to get hired by nepotism. (They are friends each other) There is no HR. Their HR system works only for the managers to protect each other. Their HR is very horrible. Also, there is a lack of transparency in decision making. They said they have a flat hierarchy but its a lie. The whole work process is seriously bad. Managers have a very old fashioned mindset with incredibly old skill set. They just want to hire smart people to cover managers incompetence. Without the mother company's backup, the company already went bankrupt a long time ago.

Cons

Management is highly incompetent, and hiring practices are incredibly unprofessional. No professionality, no human resources management competence. Unclear processes.

The absolute worst company to work for

The product idea is actually nice and appealing

Cons

A lot of people in the management show unhealthy social tendencies. People, especially women, in the company tend to be treated very poorly. As I have worked there myself, I witnessed a few women laid off after a minor disagreement with the management or their supervisors, basically convinced they are "not a fit for a startup culture" or other false pretences. One was sexually harassed by her immediate supervisor.
