      Narcissism unbound!

      there is nothing positive about this company

      Upper leadership is extremely narcissistic. Any feedback about the product, how the product is being built, and the future of the product and its direction is met with ADA violations and being treated as if you don't exist in the company. They'll wear you down until you're complementing suicide or the job. Not to mention almost no benefits and the cheapest health care plan they could find. The entire operation would make a great case study for 'how to not build a software application'. It's almost like leadership wants to run the company into the ground.

      Pros

      Pay was optimal, far above industry standards (basically be a body to be counted for their funding rounds). No real need to be productive or even contribute beyond clocking in. Absolutely no oversight or even interaction, again many of us seemed to be hired just to justify further seed funding. No criteria or benchmarks expected or even communicated. It was a seet paycheck for just being a body!

      Cons

      Alas, all good things come to an end. Once my dept. saw a hemorrhaging of staff, others seemed desperate to staunch the bleeding of funds & staffing once they were put in charge of large swaths of what were once happily left alone to run "productivity" on their own with no oversight or feedback or even accountability of actually doing anything work-related.
