Pros

work quality requirements are low

Cons

unqualified and inexperienced management (both local and expatriates from the mainland China), no prospects, promotion and rewards are based on relationship more than productivity and quality, management are unable to judge quality and hence do not reward competent subordinates, having working culture of irresponsibility and laziness, hence high staff turnover rate (more competent staffs leave without short period), typical unproductive state-owned enterprises, keep adding unqualified and inexperienced mainland China expatriates at all levels of the company, unrealistic work requirements (eg unnecessary short notice, requiring irrelevent work to meet simple aims, due to management's overcontrol on their inexperienced area) from management, etc
