Senior Management their own enemy

Pros

Nice office/ location Met some amazing people working there

Cons

1. Too many mediocre senior leaders that refuse to pivot/ learn new ways of doing things while simultaneously blocking new joiners (regardless of position) from being involved in strategy, idea sharing etc. Unproductive gate keeping. 2. If you’re not favoured by the clique/ senior management then there is absolutely no room for career development/ promotions/ substantial pay rise or any pay rise at all. 3. Developing a toxic company culture by stomping out any new initiatives from new joiners/ team members willing to do the work to develop a positive social atmosphere

Pros

Great colleagues to work with. Work life balance is generous.

Cons

Desperately needs a HR function to ensure employees are treated fairly You will only get a raise/promotion if you're favoured by senior management, Nothing to do with your hard work. Close knit circle. No chance for any career progression and no noticeable progressions happened during my tenure. If you have a few job offers on the table which includes ISI, I would avoid ISI if you value hard work and honesty.

Pros

-Working from home some days. -Location

Cons

-Hardwork and effort does not get recognised nor rewarded. -Increases in salary always sales first and leftovers given to the same non-sales staff. -There is an inner circle that constantly gets promoted. -No investment in market leading tools or platforms. -Clock in and clock out culture. No events, social activities. -Employees who genuinely care for the company are not promoted and often let go. -Lots of attrition from new joiners.
