Pros
Relaxed Environment and friendly management. I met some great people. IDOM Was a great place to start my construction career and learnt alot about CAD and Civil Engineering principles. Good Salary and yearly increases made me feel valued. The yearly San IDOM is also great and wish more companies did this.
Cons
Lack of a dedicated apprenticeship program or any formal apprentiship learning scheme leaved me and my colleagues confused on what I was actually meant to do. There was also a lack of work, sometimes going 7/8 week at time without any work. In the 2 years I worked there no new projects of interest or value arrose. I found myself extremely bored most of the time and came out of the company feeling underutilized and abit gutted.
