Pros

great team, not including management

Cons

long hours constant micromanaging inappropriate use of cctv uncomfortable uniform (low quality shirt, apron, jeans and sneakers) while aircon doesn’t work in the summer inconsistent roster (both ft and pt) late in sending out roster (can take upto last day of the month to send out next month’s roster) when calling in sick they are not understanding, will not believe you and ask a ton of questions unrealistic sales target, expects you to perform when there are no incentives no support from management will harass you during your days off (multiple texts and calls) expected to stand at the door to sanitise and check people in (upto 3.5 hours per day) (expects you to stand up straight without leaning) manager/s on their day off will call the store just to tell you to stop leaning lol no growth within the company your opinions aren’t valued witnessed other staffs cry during work hours due to bullying from management, results in multiple resignations and HO blatantly ignoring this issue we are a big store, cleaning is needed however they refuse to hire cleaners. we are expected to sweep, vacuum, mop, wipe benches/displays, mirrors, drawers, cabinets, store room, trim/cut leafs, water plants/ceiling plants, wipe glass doors and walls, sanitise and clean testers, scrub the floors and sink, on an everyday basis. if there are no customers, this is what they expect you to do although you’ve already done it on the day little to no notice on change of roster only 30% discount on products, can be used 3 times a month, within 100$ transactions, after probationary period of 6 months

Pros

Sales advisors were friendly - You become friends with them and they make the work environment enjoyable

Cons

HO in Melbourne will watch you from the cameras and call the store if you are caught talking with other team members - No over time pay if you stay back - Makes staff clean the store (mop and vacuum) everyday and if you are down a team member they make you stay back with no pay and clean - Management is biased and fake - They reward team members who are whistleblowers and kiss up - Uniform does not fit / uncomfortable (denim on denim) - Staff are required to learn all the products within a week of starting the JOB - No formal training provided when you start this role - Staff are required to sell $150+ worth of products in one consultant - You get calls and texts on your RDO to come in and work - Management does not believe in sick days ( you get interrogated/breach of privacy ) asking why you are sick - Staff must comes in 15 mins early unpaid to set up the store (illegal A F) -They quiz on product ingredients randomly and get mad if you don't know -Breaks are not provided on somedays
