Pros

We're a unique product on the market- pairing SMEs with the very best graduates in the UK for paid internships and graduate positions. It's a really exciting time to work for a company that's constantly evolving and growing and is so relevant to current affairs regarding graduate unemployment and the strength of SMEs as a tool for our economic recovery- Instant Impact pair the two. However, most importantly, it's a fun and dynamic place to work.

Cons

As a start up company, we're constantly changing and evolving- however, this means that as a team we all have to pitch in on different tasks to get the job can- it can get busy and muddled.

Great employees, lack of direction.

Pros

- The team is unbeatable. Really great people who aren't 'typical recruiters'. - A generally supportive, collaborative environment. - Structure is flat and therefore communication within the team is good.

Cons

- Pay is low, often below London Living Wage. - Non-recruiter team members come second to the recruitment team and there's little understanding of how to manage these other departments. - Fundamental issues are 'swept under the rug' while management focus on short-term wins.

Amazing Team, Lots of Problems

Pros

- The employees, hard working and talented. Most people stay in contact post Instant Impact. - Good training opportunities.

Cons

- Micromanagement, 3 check-in meetings a day. - Lack of direction, CEO's don't know what the business should specialise in, if anything. Lost their USP in grad recruitment. - Not open to feedback. Feedback that rivals CEO's views is deemed as negative. - V. strict on time. Meetings to discuss 2 minutes of lateness however will contact employees on holidays, after work hours and pull you into meetings when your leaving.
