Now.. There’s some huge disparities between salaries (same titles and across all levels) and a big lack of transparency to justify such differences. Some manager will earn much more than you, but won’t even do 1/3 of what you do on a daily basis (they’ll also lose their entire team but no one is questioning about that). They’ll constantly play the victim and manipulate everyone to eventually get what they want. Whilst some other managers are excellent at what they do, it’s horrible to work with people like above and worst thing is to see their behaviour and poor results being tolerated. Chances to grow from retail to corporate are very limited unless you live/move to Paris. Some departments totally ignore you, and again, nothing is done about that.
