    Pros

    - Good staff discount on products in store. - Great people to work with.

    Cons

    - Constantly battling with targets. - Lack of stock throughout company. - Rude customers. - Only certain stores can sell high end photographic products. - Often quiet. - You feel very undervalued. - Awful management. - Training is very limited. - Pushed to sell 'JCP' and if you don't it can effect your stats.

    Pros

    Working with my store team was great and working with customers isn't all bad.

    Cons

    Higher management is awful, we never received stock for customers who ordered it, very in-secure job as many stores were closed with no notice.

    Very friendly staff throughout the ranks 5 weeks holiday Hourly pay is very good Customer base is fantastic

    Pros

    Everyone is friendly. Office atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming.

    Cons

    No structure, no inductions, no reviews, 1:1 or personal development plans for employees. Management is not monitored or prepared to support teams, the only target for everyone is Black Friday.

    - Great people in the business, good leaders, people make you feel you're part of a team - Progression and training was extremely promising

    - When things don't go well for the store, you're made to feel very pressured

    I worked at Jessops full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    The team in store is the biggest Pro, putting together a good team and seeing them work well to achieve personal and business goals and targets is rewarding. I've learned a lot from this company that I don't think I would have elsewhere but that wasn't always through design by Jessops, a lot was on the job learning.

    Cons

    Stock management is the biggest issue. The stores are not set up for success. Some stores got a refit and others were left with the same look and feel the store has had for 10 years but expected to put in the same level of performance. A handful of store managers in the business take the mickey with their salaries, working days and generally seem to have a different set of rules to the rest of us.
