Clerk/Admitting Dept. I went from being very happy and excited for this role, to feeling anxious, exhausted, on edge, and constantly walking on eggshells. Scared to ask questions, on-boarding training felt rushed, unrealistic, and overall not a safe place to learn, make mistakes, and grow. I was told by mgmt. that I was “Overconfident”. The moment I heard that, I knew it was time to bounce. I realized that the issue was less about my performance, than it was me fitting in with my colleagues. If you don’t follow the herd of sheep, they will find creative ways to have you removed. Do your research, & make sure to really get a grasp of the company culture. Ask around, read employee boards like this to get an honest insight. Unfortunately, I did not do enough. Otherwise, I would have rejected the offer & listened to my instincts.
