The pay is decent but not comparable to what Apple Inc. pays their employees in the same line of work.
Cons
Views not based on judgement or cynicism but observable and quantifiable. 1. Unless one is openly stating or waving a rainbow flag, there is a total lack of respect, understanding, awareness, accommodations for the neurodivergent population. Their actions, attitudes and practices are discriminatory and demeaning. 2. The management team overall lack managerial skills, effective written and oral communication skills. 3. The company is selective about who can access benefits including PTO, paternity leave, etc. 4. While employed I witnessed a drastic slide from Apple’s #1 vendor to rock bottom as well as a critical drop in their stock. I personally experienced a denial for medical exception on the grounds that no prior mentions of a medical condition. This was during COVID. Subsequently I spent $4000 in travel expenses for medical visits and hours of travel time on days off that only served to exacerbate and aggravate my conditions. I developed job-related anxiety disorder and was forced to retire much earlier than anticipated. Then the company denied unemployment benefits. Managers erased text replacements and templates used to effectively handle the customers. I’m an older autistic, Afro-Native American with an extensive background in technology as a special interest since early early childhood. I work smarter not harder and their antics gravely disrupted my thought process and workflow.
