Cons
There is a lot of animosity towards new starters from other people and there is obvious displays of favouritism from the partners and especially the managing partner. There is a lack of empathy for people's personal circumstances, lack of professionalism from fee earners shouting at you infront of the whole team and calling you names, lack of privacy from the office manager who will talk about your confidential issues with their friends in the firm and lack of support or welcome from the managing partner who will waste no time to humiliate you thus allowing certain fee earners to treat you horribly. Instead of helping, they stomp you down even more to condition you to accept disrespect. Certain fee earners behave so poorly that they do not abide by the SRA and money laundering, and some are also very insecure and will talk about you behind your back. One fee earner has a high turnover of staff in less than 12 months due to their attitude and behaviour towards their assistant.
