Pros

- Get to work on multiple pipelines (cause requirement kept changing) - Cross team exploration - Colleagues (90% of them have been fired so not anymore)

Cons

- No respect towards people - CEO is racist - Overworked- 56hours a week- 6 days a week and wants to implement 9-9-6 (which has to be illegal) - HR manipulates market study to low blow you - Management is not mature with decision making, PMs are not from Game Development background- They call shots and call it "logical" - Efficiency=Speed and not number of hours spent in office, clearly proof of your game not launching - Wouldnt recommend anybody to work under such a CEO with no vision of growth and stability, CEO is a tyrannt and weirdly keeps saying "I'm going to torture you to success". - Company had mass lay off cause budget cut with no product to make money in hand - CCO and CTO left the company, its just CEO and his 3 PMs making it work, not nice people to work with either. (Havent played alot of games to make games) - Missed out on basic of pre-production of game and directly jumped to making a game with no proper Game Directory for 4years and then canned the game.

Pros

Gained exposure to startup-style game development workflows. Learned why not to join a gaming startup Learned that if you are American enough everyone will lick your boots Learned how not to make a game Do not join any company that is lead by J kim and others

Cons

Toxic and high-stress work culture with poor work-life balance. Leadership communication often felt disrespectful, reactive, and dismissive. Frequent instability, shifting priorities, and lack of clear direction. Employees were expected to handle excessive workloads under constant pressure. Concerns and feedback were often ignored rather than addressed constructively. Unequal treatment and favoritism negatively affected team morale. There appeared to be repeated terminations and sudden exits that created an atmosphere of insecurity and fear. At times, decisions around hiring and firing felt driven more by ego and personal disagreements than by professionalism or performance. Product vision and execution lacked consistency, leading to frustration across teams. Burnout and attrition seemed common across departments. Limited transparency from leadership regarding company direction and decision-making. Difficult environment for long-term career growth or stability.
