Pros

- Unlimited time off - Great building with a killer view of the river - Access to latest tools and education materials

Cons

- Absentee leadership (CEO and President) - Do as I say, not as I do management style - Multiple people were fired for questionable reasons to ironically benefit the culture - Staff is very eclectic and siloed; no community or sense of purpose exists - A company ladder only exists when one person quits or is fired - Senior level management is really just a do it yourself Tony Robbins book - Employee turnover incredibly high

This feedback was part of an orchestrated effort on the part of several terminated employees. While we take feedback very seriously we also temper that feedback based on the source. Our mission is to invest in our existing staff and deliver for our clients.

Pros

Unlimited time off, nice views of downtown Wilkes-Barre.

Cons

If you’re looking for a rewarding job where you feel like a valued member of the team, AVOID LSEO at all costs. Hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a company. Raises and promotions are only given to a select few “favorite” employees, and the differences in salaries are all over the place. It is not uncommon for a senior-level team member who has been with the company for several years to make significantly less than a new hire who has only been with the company for a short time. Promotions are given based on favoritism and brown-nosing, rather than skill, dedication, and hard work. The company's Paid Media division is regularly praised by upper management yet are responsible for losing the most clients, causing tension to run high between departments. LSEO boasts a great culture and awesome perks, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Morale could not be any lower, and turnover is high. Employees frequently complain about how much they hate their jobs, yet many feel they have to stay due to a lack of opportunity in the area. Management is borderline incompetent and disconnected from the day-to-day happenings in the office. Because of this, employees are often left frustrated and feeling hopeless about their positions in the company. There is absolutely no transparency when it comes to upper management, and when people leave the company, whether terminated or of their own free will, it is rarely addressed and employees are left feeling confused. Lastly, upper management are borderline sociopaths and have no regard for the feelings and wellbeing of their staff. Employees are made to feel that they can be replaced at any moment, and certain members of management have been observed verbally abusing and taunting subordinates. I advise everyone to stay away from LSEO and any company owned by Kris Jones. Your mental health and sanity will thank you later.

Pros

Unlimited time off, decent benefits, access to necessary tools and resources, gained some valuable industry knowledge from other employees

Cons

Employee turnover is very high, yet the president and CEO never look inward to figure out why that may be happening. Leadership and management is poor overall. No culture really exists, and if it does, it's an awful one. Management always makes sure to make you feel uncomfortable and on edge. I am still having nightmares about working there. Management also plays office politics and pits employees against each other, creating unnecessary strife in the office on a daily basis. There is very little structure to the company and things are often very chaotic and disorganized. Comments made by management in public inside the office were often unprofessional and disrespectful. Employees would bring ideas to the table, or even offer up valid complaints about the company and its culture, but nothing was ever done to make positive changes. They talked a big game and came off like phony motivational speakers, but significant changes were never made, and they also seem to not want to put any work in themselves to help the company. In addition, people often felt belittled and threatened after an exchange with the CEO or president about company matters. If all this wasn't bad enough, LSEO does not get results for their clients. It was a very unfulfilling job from the standpoint that clients were not seeing an increase in business due to our services in many cases, and in some instances our shady tactics were even hurting clients. If it wasn't for being able to learn some things from some good, knowledgeable employees who were talented at what they did, I would chalk LSEO up to being a complete waste of time. Taking a job with them has been the worst decision of my professional career, and even a terrible decision for my mental health.
