      Pros

      - Excellent support/communication from the company and management. - Positive work environment. - All lesson plans and materials provided. - Labsitter's clientele, from my experience at least, were very friendly and respectful. - Decent salary (€15 an hour). - Opportunity for year-round work. - Application/recruitment process is easy.

      Cons

      - Work opportunities a little limited if working outside Florence.

      Pros

      A great opportunity for English speakers who have ever dreamed of living in the most beautiful and historic part(s) of Italy. Labsitters does a great job of preparing its teachers and then trusts them to do their job. If there was ever an issue, I could always speak with someone in the office. I never felt like I was being micromanaged, which is an issue I experienced at other companies of the same sector.

      Cons

      The job required a lot of moving about the city, but that honestly isn't even that big of a con when the city is Florence, Italy. Travellings to and from working locations is a breeze with public transit, or you can always just walk in Florence because the city is rather small and the weather is generally very nice.

      You get the possibility to make an impact on children's lives.

      Cons

      The company has very poor management and suffers from poor communication, limited staff support, unclear decision-making authority, neglected meetings, and no feedback from office. The company employs untrained staff (teenagers) to manage large groups of kids for the grand total of 5€/hour.
