Admin was consistently a mess during my time there, it felt like the management roles were shuffled around every few months until eventually the company had to lay off about half its staff due to mismanagement and complete lack of long term planning. Upper leadership bring close friend to VP position, who hasn't done anything for the company, under ''friend's VP'' team structure gains few more directors, who haven't done anything either. Thus, big money is wasted. Pressure from upper leadership is inhumane, they don't understand human beings and lost touch with reality, not to mention that some directors don't understand science and process, but will put blame on lower level staff. Finally, due to poor leadership decision, on site lab and facilities staff had to be thrown under the bus (laid off) . While VPs can keep their safe position, until good severance will be applied to them. Lots of wasteful and irrational spending.
