Pros

Communicative, family oriented and caring. Everyone is pretty helpful and easy to ask questions. This company makes you feel more important than the job, which is huge. You are encouraged to be off if not feeling well and we work from home so it's not because they are afraid of catching something. They are flexible with allowing you time off and appreciate your hard work.

Cons

Working from home has it's own challenges since you aren't in an office with your coworkers, but I love not having to go in every day. It has been a nice change.

Forever career

Pros

Working with LifeStance has truly developed into what will be my forever career. I get the joys of having my small company feel while working directly with my specific region as well as the benefits and support that you receive from a large company. I feel supported every step of my role while being pushed to expand my knowledge, skillset and myself personally.

Cons

LifeStance is so new that processes are still being developed and updated regularly. It is a con as there may be little direction to begin with, however it allows current staff to have more of a voice in the development of the company as a whole.

Pros

There are none worth mentioning

Cons

-There is a HUGE discrepancy in what you actually receive in terms of pay and what is presented during interviews & what Lifestance continues to advertise as far as compensation. Compensation is insulting for the amount of work required and the licensing/experience they require -Billing department is terrible and extremely rude towards clients. They incorrectly bill clients. The poor billing and business practices then negatively reflect upon the therapist. There's a reason LifeStance is being investigated due to client complaints of illegal billing practices and for violating federal securities laws -They say you have flexibility and control over your schedule but in reality you have no autonomy. They completely ignore your schedule & will over-schedule you despite saying you are closed to new clients -Office staff does not keep up with collecting payments from self-pay clients which leads to you not being paid until Lifestance is paid -Lack of racially and culturally diverse providers as well as a lack of cultural awareness & competency in staff, policies, and leadership -You're required to attend meetings and complete administrative tasks that you're not compensated for
