Pros

Can choose your own schedule

Cons

Poor supervision, don’t place clients with clinical specialties. Accept any clients, even ones who are better suited for PHP’s or inpatient.

Pros

Lifebulb is a good company to work for if you are primarily interested in part-time counseling roles. You will not be micromanaged. They offer several weekly options for case consultation. The lead support person is responsive. The clients are generally motivated. The EMR is pretty user-friendly.

Cons

If you are seeking a full time schedule with Lifebulb, it is difficult to achieve with their current business model. I have worked for the company for nearly 6 months and have been unable to maintain the minimum of 25 clients weekly needed in order to receive full time benefits including insurance, leave time, and internet reimbursement. They are frequently hiring more staff without ensuring the staff who are interested in full-time are able to achieve that goal.

Pros

excellent work/life balance, very organized, great communication, lots of readily available support, stable pay, consistent referrals, excellent bonus opportunities

Cons

Not a full con, but just takes some time to build a caseload as is expected in outpatient care
