Zero work life balance in this role.
Made to feel very under appreciated within your role as no one else in the business really knows what you do, you literally feel like the botton of the barrel.
Have the lowest pay and expected to walk at least 10 miles minimum to be able to knock the amount of doors they are asking for.
On top of all the walking involved and bad door interactions, you'll then be moaned at by management that it's not very productive. (This only changed as it was getting to much)
Mental health is barely taken into account only when it is too late, with little to no support.
Communication is very poor as we are sent out with the least amount of information to give to residents, which also makes us look stupid as we are doing the works but can't tell them what's going to be happening.
One minute your told "I don't set targets" to then have targets set with a word change from target to benchmark.
No plans to increase the pay even tho it will be below national living wage and telling employees that they have to hit the commission brackets to get to minimum wage and if you can't hit the bracket lightning fibre will top up your already below national living wage to national living wage, it's not fair to make your employees have to hit commission brackets that aren't easy to hit just to get to national living wage to then have to get into even higher brackets to ever start earning commission.
