Pros

Met a lot of great people who tried to help the owners out. Those great people all left. The bikes were great when they were new technology - unfortunately that was 6 years ago.

Cons

Astoundingly unprofessional. They still owe me over $6000.

Pros

You'll be given a lot of responsibilities and will get more experience here than you would at other companies at an entry level position. Electric vehicles are an up-and-coming product. Motorcycles are also an exciting product

Cons

Extremely low salary and management complains to your face that they have to pay "Silicon Valley wages". Management also try's to guilt salaried employees into working 10-12 hour days because "that's what they do at Facebook and Tesla" The Chief Operating Officer doesn't know most of the parts and she's in charge of project management and part acquisition. The company is extremely paranoid about IP but many parts are direct copies of Ducati, BMW, and Kawasaki parts. Management asks you to predict a timeline for completing a task and tells you that there's no way it could possibly take that long, then tells you to do it in half the time. They set unrealistic expectations without even figuring out what needs to be done in order to complete the task in the first place. You will be instructed to do a task a certain way, even though you've expressed concern and have provided empirical evidence that this is not the way that it should be done, and then you'll be blamed and reprimanded when it doesn't work.

Pros

You can get a ton of hands on experience here. Great coworkers... if they're even there anymore. Attrition rates are high.

Cons

The bikes are nearly impossible to manufacture/assemble. For such a small company it was frustrating to get anything done well in the a forward thinking way. The engineering iterative process was almost non-existent.
