Supportive culture with so many opportunities for growth
Pros
Linkby is the best company I've worked for in my 13+ year career. It genuinely has the feel of a small business, where everyone knows each other and the executive team makes a real effort to bring the whole company along on the journey of building the business. It never feels overly hierarchical, and everyone has a voice. I've experienced exceptional personal and professional growth during my time at Linkby. New opportunities and roles have been created for both me and my team, reflecting the company's commitment to recognising and investing in its people as they grow their careers. The employee retention speaks for itself. In the four years I've managed a team, I've only seen one person leave for a new opportunity, which says a lot about the culture and the environment we've built. I've always felt well supported by both my direct manager and the senior leadership team. The work is varied, fast-paced and genuinely exciting, with expectations that feel challenging but realistic. I never feel overloaded or overworked, and I believe the same is true for my team. The culture is one of Linkby's greatest strengths. I've built genuine friendships here, and the company invests heavily in bringing people together through regular social events and team activities, making it a place where people enjoy coming to work. Finally I love Linkby's approach to new initiatives to boost employee morale - in the last year Linkby has further refined performance reviews and introduced new employee growth initiatives, increased focus on culture by launching mission & values program and rolled out even more culture opportunities like regular team get togethers etc.
Cons
Like any startup, things move quickly. Processes evolve, priorities shift, and sometimes initiatives are changed or scrapped altogether. It can be a fast-paced environment, which isn't for everyone and may feel overwhelming if you're used to larger, more corporate organisations. That said, I've always found leadership to be receptive to feedback and willing to provide additional support when it's needed. There honestly aren't many downsides, but if I had to pick an area of improvement/ opportunity I'd love to see the employee benefits continue to evolve, particularly in the US. A lot of comparable ad tech companies now offer things like work-from-anywhere days, volunteer leave, mental health support, or Summer Fridays. Linkby already has a fantastic culture, so adding benefits like these would make an already great workplace even stronger and help us stay competitive when attracting and retaining top talent.
