So many cons....employees are pushed and pushed beyond their limits! Creating high stress, low employee retention and employee dissatisfaction. Administrators say they care about patient safety, employee satisfaction, patient and family satisfaction but their actions say otherwise! Patients express concern about their care and refuse to return. Employees are fired, DNR'd ( do not return), or resigning. Most departments have a very high employee turn over. Nurses are expected to take on more and more responsibilities, nurse to patient ratios higher then the national standard setting the nurse up for failure and patient safety compromised.

Hostile work environment fostered and endorsed by management. Management plays favorites with employees who are part of their "mutual admiration society." Lazy middle and upper management who looks the other way when their "favorites" don't do their job or abuse other employees. Managers who have been promoted over positions they know nothing about and are not able to audit their favorite supervisors/managers to make sure they are doing their jobs. Truly one of the worst working experiences I've ever had. Very unprofessional and shocking behavior.
