There is zero accountability, training, or mentoring and the culture has become openly toxic. There have been several accusations of harassment which has been enabled or covered up by management.
The biggest complaint by people when they join is that they're not told what to do or what the expectations of their job are. The truth is that is ever changing from one minute and one person to the next because even when guidelines are created, no one is held to them and there's no mentoring. If someone's not doing something right, they're not told. Management just gets angry at them behind their back and puts them on the layoff list, leaving the person to continue doing their job incorrectly without knowing and without an opportunity to adjust.
Pay is barely at or well below industry averages. There are no bonuses and raises are minimal. They struggle to keep clients happy and often have to do excessively more work than contracted for to make good on mistakes or keep clients from leaving.
Departments are spread thin to keep costs low so the hard workers carry the most weight—often working 10-12 hour days.
Computers are monitored by software.
Maternity leave is hit or miss. They'll do the bare minimum to follow the law but also know that most people don't have the means to hire a lawyer. I personally was told I no longer worked at the company when I called to come back from maternity leave. I had never been notified and they told me via phone to not leave evidence.
I worked there for 9 years but I knew what I was getting into and made sure I was getting what I needed out of the relationship. If you work there, go in with your eyes open. There are worse places to work but there are also much better places to work.
They cajole current employees to post positive reviews to counteract negative ones. Reputation management is part of their service offering so look beyond the fluff.
