      Good company to Start with

      Pros

      - Great working environment, generally people are friendly and helpful within the unit. - Being a small unit and working in a small team, you get to do things a lot on your own, be given more responsibility to head. - I work in the purchasing department, and my manager is super cool in terms of I have autonomy over my work, he just double checks and in case any errors are found simply passes them back to correct. Which I found quite unique given the constant work pressure we have at work now days.

      - Lack of perks - Less holidays - 20 days excluding bank holiday's

      Pros

      One of the great things is you get the opportunity to work in a team of technical engineers who are often supervised by senior academics from UCL.

      Cons

      The only cons would be that the location of MSSL is in guildford which very far from the city, so commuting to work everyday is very difficult.
